I love to read. I read so much everyday; books, magazines, the Internet. I enjoy reading chapter books to my daughters at home (we hope to finish The Secret Garden by by Frances Hodgson Burnett this evening.)
Reading to my class is probably my favorite aspect of being a teacher. Right now we are reading what has turned out to be one of my favorites; The Miraculous Journey of Edward Tulane. School Library Journal began their review, "This achingly beautiful story shows a true master of writing at her very best." And ended with, "An ever-so-marvelous tale." I think the students agree. They do not want me to put it down.   |
