Nappanee Tornado

Returning from the second grade field trip to Merry Lea, the buses went by an area south of Nappanee that was damaged in Thursday's tornado. While the damage is heart breaking, it was heart warming to see hundreds of Amish people gathered helping their neighbors in the clean up effort. Many students wrote more in their journals about the tornado than about the field trip. -Mr. Gall
