Mr. Gall's Second Grade Class: Election Day

Today was a great day at school. Yesterday was election day. Barack Obama won for president. He had more points than John McCain. Barack Obama is our next President. Obama made a speech. so did John McCain. Yesterday was a happy day. -Yizel's journal

Yesterday was Election Day. I voted for Barack Obama to be president. He won. John McCain made a speech in Arizona. He lost. But he was a good sport about it. The electoral college state point totals were 370 to 168. Obama won Indiana. Obama will start being president in January. -Jack's journal
