Today was a graet day. I had to where my cheerleading outfit. Because they came in yesterday after school. So I wore them today. And so guess what every cheerleader wore them even Gabby wore them. She is in Kindergarden. -Carly's journal

Today I played kick the ball over the fence. When we had to go inside from last recess we got to wach a Magic School Bus in the classroom. Then the movie got over then we had to work on are journal. Then we all went home. -Andrea's journal

During Daily 5 time, students choose between:

• Read to self
• Read to someone
• Listen to reading
• Word work
• Work on writing

While students work on their choice, I spend my time teaching the children.

Today I went to the nurse becase I didn't feal good. My stumec hert. Then I felt better when I lade down. Then I came back to the classroom. When I got there it was math time. Today we did Daley 5. It was fun. I chose Read To Sumewon. I read to Ashley and she read a joke book. It was funey. We read a lot. I read Froggy's First Kiss. It was funny. Today Mr. Galls class went to the Fire Station after lunch and we lernd what to do when there isa fire. If you ever cech on fire stop drop and role. If there was a fire and you din't have a map how would you no how you could get outside? You sould allwase have a map becaose you will get over heeded from the fire. DO NEVER BRETHE IN A FIRE!
