Today we finished Where the Red Fern Grows. It was a very good story. The story was sad because Old Dan died and Little Ann died becaus she got in a fite with a cougar. And Old Dan died because he got split open. And Billy tried to protect the dogs, but the cougar was too strong. -Luis' journal

The boy dog is named Old Dan. The girl dog is named Littel Ann. In the book the dogs fought a mounten lion. The author is named Wilson Rawls. It is a good book. -Jack's journal
