Mr. Gall's Second Grade Class

Today Mo Willems sent us a message to Mr. Gall. It said Rock on! I think that was cool. And it was! And he made Don't Let the Pigon Drive the Bus. He is a famos author! I think that he is cool! And I think that is OK! -from Caitlin's journal

Today my teacher sent a message to Mo Willem. Then Mo Willem send a message to Mr. Gall. It said: Rock on! When it said Rock on! there was a picture of Mo Willem on it. In the afternoon my teacher showed us a video that was Bill Nye. When he shoed it - it talke about color and light. Mss. Mackenzie students came! Mo Willem wrote these books: Don't Let the Pigeon Stay Up Late and Don't Let the Pigeon Drive the Bus and the Pigeon Found a Hot Dog. -from Jeny's journal

Today at lunch me and Mackenzie saw my brother walking down to the nurses. At first we did not no what was wronge. Then we saw a janeder mopping up ware he sat. So we now know he threw up. -from Alexis' journal

Today Mr. Gall didint have dudy. I got 3 marcks. We have Mo Willems week. We had two Mo Willems dase. -from Andrew's journal

Today we are having Mo Willems week. Mr. Gall read us a book. But I missed it. Mo Willems is a famis book rider. But some day he's not going to be. He sent us a coment. He said You'r class rocks Go Mr. Gall class. -from Hailey's journal

I was a little ice cream outside & a little bit warm hot choclate.* My class, witch is Mr. Galls class, had libarry today. My books are called Meet Kit & Changes for Kit. Mr. Gall is reading Meet Kit so I follow along. Some people like to crowd around me because for the picters if they could't see when Mr. Gall showed them, they look at mine. Today Mr. Gall let us wach a video. It was called Bill Nyes Science video. It was about color and light. At the bigining of it it had a saying that said Bill Nye the science gye. It was a little funny. It shoed us things I dedent even know oh and it was long. -from Caitlin's journal

My mom always call my dad Bill. But his real name is Willeam. I said to my dad What is your real name. He said Willeam. I said I think you are lying. So I asket my Grama. She said his real name is Willeam. So I gave up. I gese his real name is Willeam. -from Nicole's journal

Its Mo Willems week. He wrote Knuffle Bunny & today we barowed a book from Mrs. Rowe called Knuffle Bunny Too. It was a really good book. I loved it! -from Mackenzie's journal

Today Mr. Gall had some kids help him put the Christmas tree up. At first it looked like a bush. But then it looked better. Oh and it's relly a bigger tree than Mis. Dumphs. But I don't know if hers is still that small. Oh and if she still has the same one but I think she does. -from Kaitlyn's journal

Today Lucio, Andy, Mackenzie & me helped poot up the Chrismas tree. I am bringing bows for the tree towmorro because it's blanck now. -from Alexis' journal

Today we put up the Christmas tree. But we didin't put the lights on yet. Or the top. I think it will look nice. And the tree almost fell. We were fluffing the tree and Zack almost made the tree fall. -from Hailey's journal

OK there is a girl named Jenifer. She has ben gon for 2 munths. I sit nexst to her and I am kinda getin lonely. Theres like a hole pile of papers on her desk. I just straitened them on her desk nice and neatly. She has a lot of home werk. She was my friend. She is in Tenisee with her mother. We do not now if she will come back. We made pumkens and we took it down last month. Hers looks pritty. -from Bailey's journal
