Thursday, November 15, 2007My Fingers were Ice Cream   Today the class made a picture of Arthur. It was snowing outside. It was cold out. And my hands hrte. -from Andrew's journal My fingers were ice cream outside cause I forgot to were my gloves. On Sunday I'm going to start a new churck well its sorta not a new churck, sorta is. I have a doctors apponentment today at 4:15. I don't want to go because I half to get a shot so I won't get sick in the winter. But I'm pretty tough about getting shots. -from Mackenzie's journal Arthur season is olmost over. But today we drew Arthur. It was pritey harde for me. But it was a lot of fun. - from Hailey's journal Today Mr. Gall said that his teacher in 3rd grade was boring (with the overhead projector.) He shode us what she did. Me and mackenzie said we were redy to fall usleep. O and we also drew Arthur. Mackenzies was the best. -from Alexis' journal I really liked my aforementioned third grade teacher. She liked to use the overhead projector; and now as a teacher, so do I. However, when I was a third grader, I remember becoming very sleepy when this teacher would dim the lights and use the overhead. Because of this memory, I try extra hard to keep things interesting when I am using the overhead by saying goofy things and over emphasizing my words. Today wen we went to art we to to use shaving cream. I got shaving cream all over my shert and pants. Dmitri got it all over his shirt and pants and wen the kis got to the whashing part it was a disaster. Dmitri slipped on the tabol. Well his hands slipped. Jennifer has not been heer for a week in a hald & a few days ago we found out that she's in Tennasee visating her mom. There are so many Arthur books that we just didn't think one week would be long enough, so we are going to spend closer to a month reading books by Marc Brown. We read Arthur's Halloween today. We also colored Arthur Halloween pictures before our fall party. During the time students had to color, one girl came up to me and asked if I believe in ghosts.
