Today Jan. 23, 2008 I was kicking my football and I mist. It and my shoe went in the bleacher. My friend Baily went to tell the teacher. Then I took off my other shoe. I just had my socks on. -Nicole's journal

Tomorrow I get three teeth pulled. My dentists's name is Dr. Eberhart. It won't hurt because I will be asleep. It's really really cold outside. Right now it's 00 degrees F. That's cold alright. -Mackenzie's journal

Today me, Bailey, and Dmitri was laughing so hard that we could not stop. Outside it is so cold. When I went outside I FELL. I said "Ouch." Today Mr. Kelty teached us in the afternoon. Mr. Kelty is very very nice. -Jeny's journal

Today we had show and tell. Jessica brought a Webkinz. Jessica brought a bunny. Her name is Snowball. Jessica forgot that she allredy showed her other webkins a cuple weeks ago. Her other Webkinz were a horse and a cat. There names are Brownie and Milissa. They are so cute. -Lizeth's journal

We had a substute today. Her name is Mrs. Keller. She was nice. Not just nice like . . . really nice. She read us a book called Santa Bears First Chirstmas. It was so so so sad. It made me want a bear so bad. Because it was a baby bear. -Mackenzie's journal

I went to the Carl Anderson "Assessing Writers" conference today. Mr. Anderson is an excellent presenter. Both times I have heard him speak, I have returned with terrific ideas on how to take our "Writer's Workshop" to a higher level. -Mr. Gall

Today we had a substitute. Her name was Mrs. Hackett. Shes really nice. She teaches piano & she gave me her phone numer, what she teaches & her address. I'm going to ask my mom if I can do piano because I have a piano at home & I can practice. But I'm not sure if my mom will say yes or no. But I hope she says yes! -Mackenzie's journal
